This Privacy Policy explains how Yaadtrip Tours ("Yaadtrip," "we," "us") collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information when you use our website, booking system, tour pages, tracking tools, driver services, and related support channels.
1. Scope
This policy applies to information processed through:
- yaadtriptours.com and related pages
- Our booking, tracking, and cancellation features
- Tour booking and transport pricing flows
- Driver onboarding and driver operations tools
- Customer support via email, WhatsApp, and phone
2. Information We Collect
Customer booking data: name, phone, email, pickup/drop-off, date/time, service type, passenger count, vehicle selection, notes, and booking status details.
Payment and transaction data: payment status, provider references (such as PayPal order/capture IDs), currency, paid amount, refund status, and cancellation token metadata. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
Operational data: route and distance information, estimated travel time, tracking code, cancellation deadline metadata, and trip event history.
Optional add-on data: if you choose Fast-Food Stop features, we process selected stop name, address, and detour metadata linked to your booking.
Driver and partner data: information provided during driver onboarding and operation, including contact details, vehicle profile, compliance documents, and app usage records.
Technical data: IP address, device/browser info, logs, and security telemetry used for performance and fraud-prevention.
3. How We Use Information
- Create, confirm, manage, and support bookings
- Calculate route-based pricing and transport estimates
- Validate captured payment amounts before confirming a booking
- Issue booking confirmations, reminders, receipts, and cancellation notices
- Process cancellations and refunds according to policy
- Assign and support drivers and trip operations
- Prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms
4. Legal Basis and Consent
We process data where necessary to perform a contract (booking services), comply with legal obligations, pursue legitimate business interests (service security and reliability), or based on your consent where required.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share relevant data with:
- Payment providers (such as PayPal) for charge capture and refunds
- Infrastructure providers (such as Supabase and Cloudflare) for hosting and platform operations
- Communication providers (such as MailerSend and push services) for transactional notifications
- Maps/location providers (such as Google Maps services) for route and place validation
- Drivers and operations partners only to the extent required to deliver your trip
- Authorities where required by law or to protect safety and legal rights
6. Location and Tracking Data
For trips that use tracking features, location-related data may be processed to support route operations, ETA, assignment, and status updates. Driver location processing is intended for active service operations and safety/dispatch purposes.
7. Data Retention
We keep information for as long as needed for booking operations, support, accounting, compliance, and dispute handling. Retention periods may vary by record type and legal requirements. Data no longer needed is deleted or anonymized where practical.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including transport encryption (HTTPS), access controls, and verification checks in payment workflows. No system is 100% secure, so you should also protect your own device and account credentials.
9. International Processing
Our providers may process data in different jurisdictions. Where this occurs, we rely on provider safeguards and security commitments appropriate to service delivery.
10. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of certain personal data. You may also object to some processing or request data portability where applicable.
